III - EXAM CONTENT:​ 

​

• The award is expected to find the talented designers to inspire the Predator Brand Shop, not only with versatility but also their characteristics of breakthrough, freely expressing in each design line.

• The winning project will be developed into a Brand Shop chain to replace and enhance traditional computer shops into a modern, multitasking, integrated brand shop system for users to freely experience and buy products.

1. Layout plan of the showroom:

​

• 10mx10m area in the mall/supermarket.

• The brand shop is located in the corner with 2 glass walls and 2 wall surfaces. Check existing plan

• The main entrance is located at the large glass wall area.

• The height of the ceiling is 3.5m in raw status without a decorative ceiling installed. 

• Rough floor without tile.

2. Interior design space:

Including items as below:

​

• The logo backdrop & reception desk for 2 staff.

• The display tables (H.85cm) is located in the center of the shop to use all 4 directions, to be fit for the customer while they are standing to use and experience the products.

• The wall display shelves for Laptop, PC & computer screen.

• The display area for the accessories.

• Small corner for discussion table & 4 chairs

• The window display area.

 

The number of products which are displayed in the brand shop is unlimited, the products are: laptop (10 products max), desktop (3 products max), monitor (5 products max). All Predator products, view information at the website https://www.acervietnam.com.vn/gaming-3

3. Design requirements:

​

• Compile with the color rules, Key Visual of Predator. For more information of Predator’s products: https://www.acervietnam.com.vn/gaming-3

• Unlimited material can be new and modern (metal, glass, rock, wood with light tone...). Don't use material:  bamboo, handicrafts,...

• The modern, young design style with strong color to be fit with the key visual of Predator

• All the categories of furniture & items are required to be designed smartly and flexibly according to modular standards – Easy to assemble, flexible to transport, produce and install in every space and size.

• The modern light systems to raise the value of display products.

• Including the facade sign & modern lighting system, with text of Predator store (the height of the outside ceiling is 4m).

 

IV - REGULATIONS:

​

• Unlimited contesting projects. 

• Regardless of country, locality, or gender.

• Pirated images and sensitive content are prohibited.

• The Organizing Committee is not responsible for issues related to copyright disputes.

• Prizes for invalid work (if any) will be revoked if it is found to be fraudulent or pirated.

• After submitting the work, the contestants will receive a confirmation email and the entries will be forwarded to the judging panel.

• If the work belongs to a group, the contestants must submit the Letter of Authorization to the authorized representative and responsible person for the projects.

V - SUBMITTED PROJECT REQUIREMENTS:

Use correct Predator brand identity guidelines (logo, font, color, size, background, branding image ...):

​

• Download logo Predator.

• Download background.

• Download mockup produces Predator.

​

Project submission including 5 items:

​

1. Layout drawing of the overall plan: 

​

• The design is customizable & extend in many diference spaces.

• Furniture & Items noted in modular code.

​​

2. Interior space:​

​

• 3D render file with different views – at least 8 views​ (file PDF, max.5MB/file).

• Render 3D file need to show the design idea and material clearly.​

• The views need to show full of area and furniture category​.

​

3. The facade and the outside logo signboard:​

​

• Submit the render 3D file with images and different views including the window display – at least 6 views (file PDF max.5MB/file)​.

• File video 360o (optional) (file MP4, max.10MB/clip)​.

​

4. The description of design ideas ( 200 words).

​

5. Other requirements:​

​

• Apply the main concept into one more layout for a specific shop in frontage road with the size of 4x10m​, include 2 view render for the overall interior.

• The layout needs to be correct with the modular code of section (1) above​.

​

VI - MARKING CRITERIA:

The selected ideas will be evaluated through 3 criteria:

​

1. Demonstrating core values ​​and positioning of the Predator brand.

2. Showing 4 factors: technology, intelligence, classy, futuristic. 

3. Creativity and feasibility.

​

VII - AWARDS & HONOUR:

​

• PREDATOR BRAND SHOP DESIGN AWARD CEREMONY will be held at VIETNAM DESIGN WEEK VMARK | INTERIOR 2021.

• The prestigious awards are recognized internationally and evaluated by a jury of prestigious experts from international design associations.

• The Certificate signed by Acer Leader + International Jury representative.

• The prize from Organizing Committee includes:

1. First prize:

​

• 25 million VND in cash. 

• Laptop Nitro 5 (worth 30 million VND) 

• Being honoured at GOLDEN VMARK 2021 | Brand Shop section.

• Brand display & promotion booth area (4sqm) at VMARK Vietnam Design Week 2021 (worth 30 million VND).

 

2. Second prize:

​

• 15 million VND in cash.

• Laptop Swift 3 (worth 23 million VND)

• Being honoured at SILVER VMARK 2021 | Brand Shop section.

• Brand display & promotion booth area (4sqm) at VMARK Vietnam Design Week 2021 (worth 30 million VND).

 

3. Third prize:

​

• 10 million VND in cash.

• Being honoured at BRONZE VMARK 2021 | Brand Shop section.

• Brand display & promotion booth area (2sqm) at VMARK Vietnam Design Week 2021 (worth 15 million VND).

 

PREDATOR BRAND SHOP DESIGN Award Ceremony will be held at VIETNAM DESIGN WEEK VMARK | INTERIOR 2021.

(Winning individuals and organizations will be responsible for declaring, explaining and fulfilling income tax obligations related to prizes. The Organizer is only responsible for the payment of the remittance fee).

VIII - COPYRIGHT:

​

The Organizing Committee is free to use images, videos, information of the projects & authors of the contest to serve communication activities, publications, documents related to the program & activities of the Organizing Committee

without permission or paying any other fees. ​​
