On June 4, 2022, the "Future Designer" contest organized by the Faculty of Design and Art - Hoa Sen University was held to orient education and support Vietnam's high school students as well as young talents to find true inspiration and passion for creativity in the fields of design, fine arts and communication technology. This contest also helps young talents on their career journey that can learn and orient their future paths.
The exam required presenting a product idea that shows creativity and a worldview when entering the post-Covid-19 era. The contestants had the opportunity to express themselves, show their creativity, aesthetics,, and skills in the fields of fashion design, graphic design, and interior design... or develop communication and PR strategies for their projects. The organizers encourage contested products to use recycled, environmentally friendly materials and spread good values to the community.
After the preliminary round, the organizing committee chose 10 projects with distinctive and outstanding works from almost 100 works. The contestants are high school students in Ho Chi Minh City, Ben Tre, Can Tho, Tien Giang, Kien Giang, and Hai Phong.

Nguyen Hong Bao Ngoc, an 11th student at Luong The Vinh High School (HCMC) received a lot of praise from the jury and applause from the audience with her emotional presentation that create a lot of sympathy. Bao Ngoc's design is a poster with a message about community connection during the pandemic.
“The Covid-19 pandemic has caused a lot of pain and loss to families. Through my drawings, I want to portray portraits of silent heroes, spread love to everyone, and contribute to creating a beautiful life," said Bao Ngoc.

The first place is awarded to:
- Phan Nguyen Hoai Thuong, a student at Le Quy Don High School (Ho Chi Minh) with the work "Metamorphosis"
- Nguyen Hong Bao Ngoc, a student at Luong The Vinh High School (Ho Chi Minh City) with the work "Connection".
Second Place was awarded to:
- Nguyen Thi Yen Nhi, Tran Van On High School (Ben Tre) with the work "Dreamy Room"
- Tran Nhat Tan, Ly Tu Trong High School for the Gifted (Can Tho) with the topic "When GenZ wears Vietnamese clothes".
