From March 11 to 13, 2024, the VDAS (Ho Chi Minh City Design Association) delegation made a successful trip to participate in Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics Spring, one of the world's largest textile exhibitions, held at the Shanghai International Convention and Exhibition Center.
With thousands of international companies in attendance, the event provided VDAS with opportunities to meet and engage with over 3,000 leading manufacturers and suppliers in the textile industry. The delegation held key meetings with potential partners from China, Europe, and the U.S., opening doors to promising trade collaboration opportunities.
Throughout the event, the VDAS delegation actively attended specialized seminars on sustainable materials, advanced textile technology, and smart production solutions. The knowledge and insights gained will enable the delegation to continue developing fashion design and textile projects in Vietnam.
With over 20 discussions held with international companies and manufacturers, the VDAS delegation not only brought back valuable lessons but also laid the groundwork for future collaborative projects. These meetings are expected to create favorable conditions for the development of Vietnam’s fashion and textile industry on the global stage.
