On May 11, 2022, guests attended the exhibition "Book cover design project" had been impressed by the outstanding artworks by young creative artists who are students of the Graphic Design Course 26- Van Lang University. With nearly 180 products, this project gathered a variety of topics depicting Vietnamese culture such as literary works, comics, skill books, textbooks, etc. academic purposes. These products will not be released to respect the copyright of the author and publisher.
Each project is done by the students including the cover page (front cover, back cover, back cover), 3 pages of illustrations (double-page, single page and drop page), finished product printing, decoration, etc Many famous works has being chosen as inspiration such as Suoi Nguon, Chi Pheo, Dat rung Phuong Nam (Southern forest land), Bau troi trong qua trung (The sky in the egg), Harry Potter Series, and the Lord of the Rings Series... The project is not only focused on design, printing, and decoration but also on content to suit the work's cultural identity.
Through the exhibition and project evaluation, the students got a lot of feedback and advice from professors, making significant improvements in design processes, color schemes, and layout choices for their future projects.
