The 2024 World Industrial Design Conference (WIDC2024) was successfully held on September 20-22, 2024 in the Yantai Bajiaowan International Convention & Exhibition Center (China).
With the theme of "Design · New Quality Productive Forces“, WIDC2024 has assembled over one thousand representatives from 16 countries and regions in Yantai to discuss new models of industrial design empowering industrial development and jointly promoting new measures to accelerate new industrialization. We are proud to share that Mrs. Ngo Thu Trang, representing the VDAS Design Association, recently had the opportunity to speak at the conference.
WIDC2024 also planned a display space with a total area of 6,000m2, setting up four major exhibition areas to showcase more than 500 excellent design achievements from countries and regions with different cultural, technological, and industrial backgrounds, presenting a visual and intellectual feast for the global audience. VDAS is pleased to showcase 30 projects from young designers at the event.
Design industry organizations, universities, research institutions, experts and scholars from China, Germany, Italy, France, Switzerland, Brazil, Japan, Vietnam and other countries jointly initiated the establishment of the World Industrial Design Association (WIDA) in Yantai. Through the guidance and empowerment of cutting-edge technology, it inspires the infinite potential of industrial design and promotes the deep integration and sharing of global industrial design wisdom and resources.
